I wasn’t very interested in it in my younger days: Bob Waterer

Bob Waterer was not interested in his Hawkesbury Aboriginal heritage when young. When his sister, Agnes, recently read about Biddy Giles, a Gai-mariagal Aboriginal woman, she traces their family history and enables the author to put together unknown pieces of Biddy’s children’s storyAgnes and Bob’s great grandmother and great uncles. He has now visited Biddy’s grave with his family.
