A 70-acre farm, also called St Josephs in the Burragorang Valley is bought for local Kooris from contributions made by parishioners. The farm is made up of the portion bought with these Church funds and another section that has been a railway reserve. The Church owns a portion of the land associated with Mary Toliman who married a man from the south coast named Longbottom. She shares this part of the farm with her daughter Selena who marries an Aboriginal man named Archie Shepherd. They are adamant that the Church has handed over the land as a gift and should have no further claim to it.
