Adeline (Adelaide) Barber

Adeline (Adelaide) Barber aged 13 years attends Sackville Reach Public School. She is a third class pupil who can read and write and do arithmetic. Adeline’s mother, Elizabeth Ann Morley is a white woman who lives on the reserve with her husband, John Luke Barber. They married at the Wesleyan Church, Sackville Reach 1878.
