Swansea repatriation re-burial site

Swansea repatriation re-burial site. The site is important to the Bahtabah Local Aboriginal Land Council. It is where several remains from Aboriginal burials in the Swansea area have been repatriated by the Bahtabah LALC. The sandstone headstones, donated by Lake Macquarie Shire Council, have inscriptions of the tribal group names from the Lake Macquarie area on them: Darkinjung, Bahtabah, Worimi, Mindaribba, Nikinbah, Awabakal and Koompahtoo.
