The Mulgoa dormitory: Gordon Briscoe
Uncle Gordon Briscoe revisits the old Mulgoa dormitory in which he and the other children slept during their time there in the 1940’s. Marie Burke and Alice Roberts were two of their supervisors. The building has been moved, but is still intact, unlike The Manse which they also used and is now gone. He shows the trace evidence: patches of different grasses and depressions in the ground "that shouldn’t be there”, “faint signs of the archaeology of the Aboriginal past.”
