Auntie Dulcie Flower recalls how, in the early 1970’s, with the advent of mechanised farming, many Aboriginal people came from rural areas only to discover they had no skills to earn money in the city, either. Desperate times, people died, the Vagrancy Act led to persecution of poor people.
