Sitting in a family cave beside Cowan Creek, Uncle Dennis Foley, recalls his Uncle Willie who lived on the north shore of Coal and Candle Creek on the Hawkesbury and how he taught them culture. “He was always teaching you, always very subtle in the way he went about things.”
