Hunting, gathering and mucking about on Duck Creek: Neil Sainsbury
The Duck River Basin in the Silverwater area used to be a meeting place for trade. Uncle Neil Sainsbury and his family and friends used to swim in this area, which they called Duck Creek. They also ate many bush foods, from yabbies to berries, to rabbits his father taught them how to hunt.
