Only Whitefeller's history at Mulgoa: Gordon Briscoe
Standing on the site of the old Mulgoa Children’s home (now demolished, with no marker), Uncle Gordon Briscoe describes the buildings and life there. The home was used as a refugee camp for Aboriginal children from the Northern Territory. Their story was forgotten at the end of the war and the only photographic history is in the church, but it is “whitefeller’s history”.
