Pemulwuy is killed. His head is cut off and sent to England, whence it has not returned. (see entry, this section, for the year 2010)

Hostilities against the settlers continue, led by Musquito, a Gai-Mariagal man, or Tedbury, Pemulwuy’s son.

Land grants are taken up by settlers on the Upper Salt Pan Creek.
